Resource for Wealth

Welcome

My name is Myles, and I am a practicing investor who is constantly learning and working towards becoming financially independent in my spare time. Even while traveling and working long days, anyone can improve their lives. I am passionate about investing, and want to share and learn from as many people as possible.

I wanted to create a website to help people improve their financial outlook. Here, you will be able to access the knowledge that I have gained from texts, books, and my real life successes and failures (and I’ve had my share). You can do it all right here in one place. Check out the “Myles of Investments” section, where I will share my successes and lessons, for you to learn from!resource for wealth

The subject of money is not taught in schools, and books can be so specialized, that implementation can be difficult. Where can average people get knowledge to better their lives?

I love seeing someone solve a problem. And I think that creating dialogue is one of the best ways to do this. This website is intended to get us all talking about money, and how we can get it to work for us!

I also love competition. It is a great way to drive action! Be sure to share your investing aspirations with other like-minded individuals so you can help keep each other focused and motivated!

If you catch me at a cocktail party, ask me a question and I will always be happy to discuss!

I ended my schooling and started my career with $40,000 in debt, living in my in-law’s basement with a car that continually broke down, and working for $12 an hour in a factory. In the four years from that time, I have worked my way completely out of debt bought a house in a good neighborhood, and finally have a reliable car! There were quite a few investments along the way that helped me achieve these goals. Some real estate, a few stocks, and a few misses too. I talk about all of these in detail throughout this website, so be sure to check it out.

There were two especially challenging parts to the equation:
1. Learning the concepts of money and some skills of investing so you aren’t spinning and toiling fruitlessly, and
2. (Most difficult) implementing those simple concepts.

If you have the passion and want to implement and take action, I can help you with experience from my real life trials and tribulations. What level of wealth can I achieve? I don’t know, but please learn with me and implement any ideas for you and your family so we can all reach for the goal of being financially independent! Becoming wealthy is an elephant size task, so keep taking little bites and you will be satisfied with the result.

Why do I feel that I can be a resource for your wealth? I have flipped a property in 2 months for a huge gain; I have fixed up a house and increased the value by 25% in under a year; I have rented out property for positive cashflow; fixed up a condo for two years and doubled its value; and saw the value of my stock portfolio swing high and low, and collected money from dividends all the while. I am living these examples in my life, and they are here for you to take or leave, hopefully to gain knowledge and motivation for your own future.

Be sure to check back often as I add new articles, investment insights, talk about current economic trends, and get some other investor’s insights!
Myles.
