There is a wealth of free knowledge out there for people to learn how to build wealth, if you just search for it. Libraries are built on the premise of free knowledge, and should be the starting point of study for all people. What to read? Well what are you interested in? You will learn a lot more reading about subjects and people that you are intensely interested in than, an accounting book that puts you to sleep every few pages. If you like tech, research the best companies in the business and the people who founded them and run them. If you are interested in investors in the stock market, find out who has made a lot of money in a style you admire, and research them.
Once you start your search, you are bound to read about other people and ideas that you will want to learn more about, and the process continues.
The next best thing to free knowledge is cheap knowledge. Now that you have interests and ideas in a field of study, find a business or person who works in that field and take them out to lunch for soup and a sandwich. It could be the best ten dollars you ever spent, because you will gain knowledge from an insider in that industry. Most people are more than happy to give you information if you ask and they often feel flattered that someone cares about what they do.
One of the most untapped resources of free knowledge is your friends and family. Most families have an unspoken rule, and find it taboo to speak about wealth, but have members who are actually very wealthy! This is crazy, why struggle on your own, when can learn from someone who has real life experiences. Most people love to share their experiences, but are modest, and as a result, will need to be asked. With all of these resources for free knowledge, you can learn so much from others, that soon, your biggest challenge will be trying to implement all of these great ideas.
