Reduce Expenses and Grow Richer

I see a lot of spokespeople selling systems to get you richer by increasing your income, but I want to pitch another idea: reduce your expenses and the pressure to produce more income is lowered, along with your risk.

There are always ways of generating more income, and for each new method, some people are great, some good and many not so good, at implementing the processes and achieving results. What if there was a way to earn the equivalent amount of income without working? There is, and like most hard to implement ideas, the concept is simple.

Reduce your expenses! This is like giving yourself a raise each month, because at the end you will have more money in your bank. Unlike some get rich quick, schemes, this one everyone can do, because you are not measured on adding value, but on reducing expenses, which is a choice not a skill.

Look for quick hit items that could reduce bills in your house. Most people think they can’t reduce their expenses because they have no control over how much things cost. This is not the case, if you are prepared to think outside the box. Reduce your gas bill by buying a thermal blanket for your hot water heater. Reduce your phone bill by switching to a voice over internet provider who is cheaper than your local company. Start brainstorming and you will come up with ideas on how to reduce you bills. The greatest part of this method is that when you find something and implement it, you won’t need to work harder.
