Stock Market

We’ve all heard it…You can make a fortune in the stock market by smart buys and sells of great companies over time. The great thing about the stock market, is that there are always buyers and sellers simultaneously willing to execute the trade, allowing you to capitalize on your gains anytime you want. There is no other method that I know of in the world, to so quickly and easily become a part owner in a company, all the way down to fractions of a percentage. Could you imagine going in to your local restaurant and being able to give the cashier $600 to buy a percentage stake in the business, and her immediately give you the corresponding shares and tell you that whenever you want to sell it, to come back and they would give you the going rate for the business? This is what you are able to do immediately every day in the stock market.

There are many different investment philosophies and ways that people try to make money in the stock market, you should be able to find one that is right for you. There are day traders playing the day to day momentum moves of the market, value investors looking for deals on stocks that get beat down past their actual worth in the market, and growth investors who are buying into the future potential of stocks that they feel will be shining stars. Add onto this technical analysis, derivatives and the list goes on and on – without even getting to bonds yet!

Think of all of the products and services that you couldn’t imagine yourself without. Typically there are publicly traded companies on the stock market that are behind all of these items, and they would be great starting points to research as investments. In this section I will provide you with insight on methods to analyze a stock and make money in the market, using techniques that I myself have followed. You won’t need to hear about hot tips on stocks to buy, because you will have the knowledge to figure it out and you can give the tips to other people if you want!
